Troncones, Mexico

Casa De La Sirena

After years of traveling through Mexico, we found Troncones in 1999. We fell in love with this magical beachside village and knew this was where we wanted to have our home. Over the next few years, we worked with the local builders, tradespeople and artists to design our property as a showcase of authentic Mexican architecture. We hand chose the folk art, textiles, and hardwood adornments so each space is beautiful and delightful. All our accommodations are intertwined within the mature tropical gardens and surrounded by coconut trees and garden walls for extra privacy. Casa de la Sirena is a home we truly love, and you will too.

There are four full-time staff people to maintain and clean our grounds, pools and rooms every day, so you will feel pampered and well taken care of. Our property is the ideal place for family and friend reunions, secluded retreats, or a couple’s romantic get-away. Come to Casa de la Sirena to completely relax!

YOUR HOSTS

Mike and Debbie

Debbie and Mike met almost thirty years ago in the California Delta while docking their boats side by side. Whether it was love at first sight or a shared love of travel and adventure, ten years later, they knew Troncones was a permanent destination.

So charmed by the uniqueness of the small family village, they purchased a beachfront lot and built their dream villa. The vision of Casa de la Sirena was born.

Today, almost twenty years later, Casa de la Sirena has grown but is still a favored beachfront vacation spot. Guest return year after year and have become dear friends. The staff’s decades long loyalty, expertise, and love for Casa de la Sirena keep it beautiful and spotless. Not least of all, Mike’s exemplary construction experience keeps the dream in tip-top shape.

And you’re in luck! Our beautiful, well-maintained and well-managed accommodations are now condos for sale, so you can own a part of the dream too.

Maria

Housekeeping

Maria was our first full-time employee we hired here in 2001, and since then she has become a huge part of our family. She is a wonderful mother and proud grandmother, as well as a wonderful friend. She has a heart as big as the whole world, and we love her.

Humberto

General Manager

Humberto came to work for us in 2005 as a gardener and spoke no English. He’s now our manager, and his learned English has ruined our Spanish. It's so good! Guests come back every year just to see him and Maria. It's TRUE! In 2011, he married Montserrat (Montsie) and they live in an apartment within the compound.
