One of our favorite activities is going for an early morning walk along the beach and then relaxing in a comfortable lounge chair with a good book and a refreshing beverage. You might have your own favorite vacation pastimes. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
We love walking along the three mile surf line beachcombing for treasures, although the waters here are also welcoming for many fun water activities. Napping under the palapas is encouraged. Enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening with your favorite person and new friends on our private beach.
Troncones is a small village with a variety of nightlife opportunities for everyone. Local live music events ranging from traditional music to favorite oldies to salsa bands can be found almost every evening. Traditional cultural shows and dance events make for a memorable evening. There are many dining establishments as well as outdoor venues to enjoy a drink.
Just down the road is a world class point break wave perfect for a reliable long ride. This wave is suitable for either the seasoned surfer and it is also a great place to learn!
Surf lessons are available. Surfboard rentals are available. Surf’s always up.
Just down the road is a sea turtle sanctuary, protecting the nesting habitat for the ecological survival of several turtle species. Once a month, the turtles hatch from their eggs on the beach and are protected as they make their way to the sea. You can participate in this very special event and support the health of the community and the environment.
For the more adventurous types, book an ATV tour through the mountain jungle with a local guide. Or fulfill a lifelong dream and spend the afternoon at the beach on horseback. Bikes are available for rental from several establishments too. Or lace up your boots for a walk through the miles of maintained hiking and biking trails accessible from town.
After a fun-filled day in paradise, relax and recharge in a yoga or tai chi class. If you’re looking for a bit more spunk, take a salsa lesson in Troncones and dance the night away. Or, practice your own movement or meditation routine on our green, enclosed yoga platform.
Explore
Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa are less than a half-hour drive away. Both towns have lots to offer in terms of tourist attractions and local culture. Taxis from Troncones will take you there. Rental cars are available from the ZIH airport if you prefer to explore the area on your own. We are happy to give you tips about some fun day-trip destinations.

No one likes to leave home without counting on having a few of the finer self-care amenities at their disposal. Need a pedicure? How about indulging your feet to a royal treatment while you lounge on the beach? Relax and receive a massage in your suite while listening to the waves break on the shore. There is also a traditional spa just down the street with all the usual services.
